First of all, thanks for reading. I really do appreciate it. In this blogpost I am going to explain my supplementation strategy to recover better and get more gains. This works for females and males. This is 100% NATTY. The thing is, it only works, if your lifestyle and diet is in check. Androgens are necessary for optimal recovery after exercise. They are very important. You want enough adrogens in your body, especially if you want to maximize muscle growth.
Androgens are a group of hormones. Present in both males and females, the principle androgens are testosterone and androstenedione. Androgens may be called "male hormones," but don't let the name fool you. Both men's and women's bodies produce androgens, just in differing amounts. Other androgens include dihydrotestosterone (DHT), dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and DHEA sulfate (DHEA-S).
With addressing lifestyle factors, like limiting alcohol, weight management (healthy BF%), sun exposure and sleep (quality & duration), lowering stress, and taking supplements like zinc picolinate, vitamin D, ashwaganda and magnesium biglycinate/citrate, you can achieve healthy and optimal androgen levels.
But this is not the end of the story. Your muscle cells contain androgen receptors. Androgen receptors allow the body to respond appropriately to these hormones. The hormones bind to these receptors, then the magic happens.
You can have sufficient androgens, but the androgen receptor content of your muscle cell can be a limiting factor. If you lack androgen receptors, hormones like testosterone can’t bind to the muscle cell and activate all these anabolic processes that allow you to make the most gains as possible.
Luckily you can solve this.
Supplementing 3-4.5 grams of oral L-carnitine-tartrate can improve the number of androgen receptors and their sensitivity to testosterone, so you will recover better. You can take 500mgs with every meal. Or take 1500mgs before and 1500mgs after exercise. You can also take 1500 grams in the morning, 1500 in the evening. Just take at least 3 grams of L-carnitine-tartrate daily. You can even take a little bit more, just experiment on yourself, but in that case I would really split dose (if you are using more than 3 grams daily), like with breakfast, lunch, dinner. Some people take the full 3 grams, first thing in the morning with some water. I think split dosing is the way to go, to prevent any negative side effects that a high dose can give like upset stomach, etc.
This supplement does NOT increase testosterone levels, but it increases the effects of testosterone as they are vicarious through its receptors. Supplementation may be a decent adjunct, if you are trying to optimize testosterone levels and natural bodybuilding is your passion.
But, don’t get me wrong. Also for the enhanced it can be a very nice addition. Some of you might be on gear, using supraphysiological amounts of testosterone and other androgens. Anabolic steroids itself do upregulate the androgen receptors, but adding additional L-carnitine-tartrate in the mix, so the gear can work better due to even more androgen receptors, is useful.
Youri (100%NATTY) & I both have used L-carnitine-tartrate and noticed improvements in gains & muscle recovery.
If you have low testosterone levels, adding L-carnitine-tartrate, will upregulate the androgen receptors, but androgens are lacking, so results probably will be disappointing. You need to focus on achieving the highest amount of testosterone as possible in combination with L-Carnitine-tartrate supplementation to get the best outcome.
If your diet is lacking nutrients, your lifestyle is trash, L-carnitine-tartrate isn’t going to do shit for you. Foundation really needs to be very solid. If you don't have any muscle on your frame right now, this is not for you. This supplement is for athletes, that know how to train and eat. If you are a loser, searching for magic pills that will finally make you massive, hate to bring it to you, but with this approach you will be small forever. You are better off just hiring a fitness coach.
If you are a kid is still eating mom’s protein & fiber deficient dinner that’s also lacking in vitamins and minerals, thinking this supplement will finally make you huge, safe your money. Buy a nutrition course for your mom, so she can make high protein & micronutrient rich dishes. Or start cooking dinner yourself for you and your family. Stop playing videogames, watching Netflix. Start with improving your cooking skills. Me and my clients could lose all their gains. But with their knowledge and skills, within a few months, they will be back even bigger than before.
